IoPT student and scientist:

"The method used in IoPT I will not even try to explain because it simply exceeds the limits of what we have experience of and can imagine. It is as useless as trying to explain to a color blind the nuances of a world it experiences that is not color blind. Anyone who has never tried this has no opportunity to understand or imagine how it works, it must be experienced."

Science and compassion: A meeting between Prof. Dr. Franz Ruppert og Dr. Gabor Maté - 2 Days in Oslo, november 2017

For all therapeutic practice, theory is most important. With IoPT, Franz has developed a trauma treatment method that is based on a holistic understanding of the human organism, and we who work with IoPT know how much help we have received and how much help we can give with this effective and gentle method. Focus on strengthening the healthy parts means that a “nucleus” can be built up from which the client can orient himself. Franz and I are pleased that Dr. Maria Macarenco is researching the connection between IoPT and autoimmune diseases and at Lund University Sigrid Stjernswäld is researching IoPT as a therapeutic method. Stjernswäld will present findings from its research at the 5th International Conference in Munich 16 – 18 October 2020.
